“ amazing and delicious pizza. Quick and affordable! I got the mushroom pepperoni and they had it right away! Great service! ”
“ Had lunch here and loved it! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor space is cozy--fits about 10-15 people comfortably--but the outdoor area has more room if you're looking for extra space. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, always checking in and keeping our drinks topped off. The food was amazing! Portions were just right, and the prices were really reasonable. I had the cheese ravioli with bread, and my family ordered a sandwich and spaghetti. Everything was delicious, and we all left happy with our meals. Can't wait to come back! ”
“ Delicious pizzas. Heavy. Be sure to make time for a nap afterwards. they also offer wings. ”
“ My Kid's thumbs up = when it comes to pizza. She requested Chicago style pizza in LA & we found it. T H A N K Y O U for helping me keep my "Best Dad Ever" title! ”
“ Great pizza, buffalo wings, right next to Cinamark theater. You could enjoy meat then go to the movies after. ”
“ I have been coming to this location for a very long time. My folks used to live close by and since they moved I hadn't been back. It used to be a bigger location but they moved to a smaller location right next to it years ago. I was so happy it was able to stay open. Numero Uno was my favorite! I loved the family meal deal they have that comes with pasta, pizza and a salad. It was a great deal back then at only 9.99. Today I paid $50. Hey I understand inflation but I also ordered a few other items to go and my order was missing two items. We drove pretty far so there was really nothing we could do, we were out the money the items cost. We sat to have part of our meal there and it was also missing an item that our server charged us for and then claimed that we didn't order it. The server was rude and condescending and I was really sad that my old spot's warmth and charm had diminished. I dont know when I will be back here. The food was good but the cleanliness and service needs work. I gave it a generous four stars because I dont want it to lose business, I want management to be aware and step up to make this place the gem I know it is. ”
“ I'm in heaven. Pizza was hot w/fresh tomatoes, peppers and onions. Amazing taste. I am never disappointed. I highly recommend Numero Uno. You won't go wrong ”
“ Numero uno brings back childhood memories of dinner out with my parents. It's been a long time since I've even seen one of these around. While visiting family in the area I saw the sign...Gotta stop. Doughboy butter balls should be the name of these bread puffs. It comes in a foil tray with golden dough Parmesan cheese and garlic butter. The dragon breath will definitely be sticking with you for a while. But if you love garlic and bread this may be your cup of tea. Servers here were helpful and friendly upon arrival for an order. Quaint interior, Inside and patio seating available. Situated on a little corner alleyway next to a movie theater. Plenty of covered parking. Right off the 170 on the corner of cold water canyon and w victory blvd. ”
“ Numero Uno is not an easy place to find had I not heard about it from a resident Valley Girl. A small shop facing the interior of a parking lot, you'll find tasty food for a tasty price. But you won't find a Chicago style deep dish pizza; instead you'll find yourself eating a delicious hunk of cheesy bread with the same pizza toppings. That said, I can see myself returning. MY ORDER X1 Slaughterhouse 5 Pizza (M) x1 Dinner Salad SLAUGHTERHOUSE 5 w/ THICK CRUST (Medium): ($18.95) The thick crust Deep Dish Chicago style pizza which Numero Uno claims to specialize in was not a Chicago style deep dish pizza. Heck, I wouldn't even call it a pizza. It was, however, a delicious sweet, fluffy and cheesy bread with tasty toppings. Had I been craving pizza, the deep dish may not have sufficed as tomato sauce is a very important element in pizzas and you could barely taste any of it on their thick crust pizza. DINNER SALAD: ($6.45) Small and simple and shareable between two as an appetizer, the dinner salad comes with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and cheese to help you feel a little bit less guilty about the mountain of bread you've just wolfed down. You'll be given a a selection of dressings to choose from. ENVIRONMENT: Dimly lit and a little bit awkward. They had a cashier counter where you would have expected to place an order akin to Dominos, but they actually consider themselves a full service sit-down restaurant and would prefer that you wait to be seated. It's also a fairly small space with a total of around 10 tables. TIPS: - There is a large parking lot right outside - I would probably order takeout given the tiny and somewhat awkward dine-in ambience ”
